Why choose this program at IAC?
The Master of Architecture at IAC is a flexible, HEC-approved program designed for working professionals, offering evening classes and timely degree completion. Led by foreign-qualified faculty, it emphasizes research, digital tools, and AI integration. Students can specialize in areas like heritage conservation, sustainable design, or responsive architecture, gaining real-world experience through hands-on projects and industry mentorship.

Program overview

The Master of Architecture program at IAC responds to the multifaceted challenges and aspirations of the profession. It offers two pathways: a Specialized Track, where students delve deeply into focused areas of architectural practice, and a General Track, which broadens understanding across multiple domains. Both pathways are structured around four core courses, four electives, and a final thesis project. This flexibility allows graduates to either refine their specialization or gain a comprehensive understanding of contemporary architecture.

Scope of the Program

The program encompasses cutting-edge themes such as architectural heritage, energy-efficient architecture, AI-enhanced design tools, and responsive environments. Students build a strong research foundation and engage in real-world problems through a combination of theory, advanced design studios, and a major research thesis. The general track focuses on versatility and broad applications, while the specialized track supports in-depth inquiry into heritage conservation and related policy, theory, and technologies.
