Scholarships are offered under two broad categories: Merit-based and Need-based, along with special schemes tailored for specific circumstances. The following section provides details of each scholarship, including objectives, scope, eligibility, and procedures for application.

Merit-Based Scholarships

IAC offers Merit-Based Scholarships to recognize and support outstanding students at the time of admission. Scholarships are awarded based on marks obtained in Intermediate, A-Levels, or equivalent qualifications.

Eligibility
  • Applicable to new applicants at the time of admission.
  • Based on academic performance in Intermediate / A-Level / Equivalent exams.
  • Available only for tuition fee in eligible undergraduate degree programs.

Continuation
  • Scholarship continues if the student maintains minimum SGPA 3.50.

  • Apply at the Admission Office using the prescribed scholarship form.
  • Attach required documents: CNIC/Form-B, father’s CNIC, transcripts, verified results.
  • Applications are processed within one week.

Need-Based Scholarships

IAC offers Need-Based Scholarships to support students who face financial challenges in pursuing higher education. These scholarships are designed to reduce tuition fees and ensure equal opportunities for talented students.

Eligibility
  • Applicable to students admitted to undergraduate degree programs.
  • Students must be registered with IAC and have paid the admission and first semester fee.
  • Not available to students already availing another IAC scholarship.
Scholarship Percentage
  • Scholarships range from 10% to 50% of tuition fee.
  • Awarded based on family income, financial documents, and interview with the Scholarship Board.
Required Documents
  • CNIC/Form-B of applicant and father/guardian
  • Proof of income (salary slip, tax return, land ownership, or affidavit)
  • Latest utility bills
  • Rent agreement (if applicable)
  • Paid fee challan
Continuation
  • Students must maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.0.
  • Scholarships are discontinued if CGPA falls below the required level or in case of fee default.
Approval
  • A personal interview with the student and parent/guardian is conducted by the Scholarship Board.
  • Final approval is given by the Treasurer after reviewing documents and recommendations.
Application Process
  • Collect and submit the scholarship form at the Admission/Scholarship Office.
  • Applications processed within one week.

Azadi Scholarship

The Azadi Scholarship is a special initiative by IAC to support students from the transgender community who face financial challenges in pursuing higher education. This scholarship reflects IAC’s commitment to inclusivity and providing equal opportunities.

Eligibility
  • Open to transgender applicants admitted to IAC degree programs.
  • Not applicable to students already availing another IAC scholarship.
  • Applicable at the time of admission (in the first semester).
Scholarship Percentage
  • Ranges from 10% to 50% of tuition fees.
  • Awarded based on financial documents, verification, and interview with the Scholarship Board.
Application Process
  • Application form available at the Admission/Scholarship Office.
  • Applications processed within one week.

    • Proof of being transgender (issued by competent authority)

Benefactor’s Scholarship

The Benefactor’s Scholarship at IAC is funded through generous donations from individuals, organizations, and philanthropic partners who believe in supporting education. These scholarships provide deserving students with financial assistance and may cover up to 100% of tuition fees.

Key Features
  • Funded by donors or benefactors supporting education at IAC.
  • Awards may be based on merit, financial need, or donor-specific criteria.
  • Benefactors may nominate students directly or receive recommendations from the Scholarship Committee.
  • Applicable to tuition fees only and may be semester-wise, annual, or for the full degree.
Eligibility
  • Open to admitted students of IAC in eligible degree programs.
  • Selection based on donor’s criteria or IAC Scholarship Committee recommendation.
  • Continuation requires minimum CGPA of 3.0 (reviewed with benefactor if not maintained).
Application Process
  • Submit scholarship application at the Admission / Scholarship Office.
  • Applications reviewed by the Scholarship Officer and shared with the benefactor.
  • Benefactors may participate in shortlisting, interviews, and final selection.
Approval & Continuation
  • Final approval granted by the benefactor in coordination with IAC.
  • Selected students sign a scholarship acceptance form.
  • Scholarship may continue semester-to-semester based on academic performance.

Location-Based Scholarship

The Location-Based Scholarship at IAC provides financial assistance to students from rural areas, Gilgit Baltistan, and Balochistan who face challenges in affording higher education. This initiative reflects IAC’s commitment to promoting equal access to learning opportunities across Pakistan.

Key Features
  • Scholarship covers 10% – 50% of tuition fees based on financial need and documents.
  • Applicable at the time of admission (first semester).
  • Aims to reduce financial stress and enable students to focus on studies.
  • Not applicable to students already availing another IAC scholarship.
Eligibility
  • Students admitted to IAC degree programs from rural areas, Gilgit Baltistan, or Balochistan.
  • Applicants must provide proof of financial need.
  • Continuation requires minimum SGPA of 3.0 and clearance of outstanding dues.

Sports Scholarship (Need-Based)

The Sports Scholarship at IAC is designed to support talented student-athletes who face financial challenges in pursuing higher education. It provides tuition fee concessions to help students continue their academic journey while nurturing their sporting potential.

Key Features
  • Scholarships cover 10% – 100% of tuition fees based on financial need and sports performance.
  • Granted only after admission and payment of registration and first semester fee.
  • Awarded on the recommendation of the IAC Sports Committee following performance trials.
  • Applicable to tuition fees only.
Eligibility
  • Applicants must be amateur or professional athletes with proven achievements at national or international level.
  • Students must provide evidence of financial need and sporting merit.
  • Continuation requires maintaining a minimum SGPA of 3.0 and clearance of outstanding dues.
  • Students already availing another IAC scholarship are not eligible.
Application Process
  • Collect and submit the application form from the Admission / Scholarship Office.

    • CNIC of applicant and parent/guardian (or B-Form)

  • Applicants and parents/guardians must attend an interview with the Scholarship Board.
  • Final approval is given by the Treasurer after review of recommendations.

Zinda Dilan-e-Lahore Scholarship

The Zinda Dilan-e-Lahore Scholarship at IAC is offered to recognize the vibrant spirit of Lahore’s students and to support their educational journey. It provides financial assistance to deserving students based on their academic potential and financial need.

Key Features
  • Up to 50% tuition fee waiver.
  • Applicable to tuition fees only.
  • Granted only after admission and payment of registration and first semester fee.
Eligibility
  • Applicant must be a registered student of IAC.
  • Open to students from Lahore who demonstrate financial need.
  • Students availing another IAC scholarship are not eligible.
Application Process

    • Family Registration Certificate (FRC)

Hafiz-e-Quran Scholarship

The Hafiz-e-Quran Scholarship at IAC provides financial support to students who have memorized the Holy Quran and face difficulty in affording tuition fees.

  • Up to 50% tuition fee waiver upon verified confirmation of Hafiz-e-Quran status.
  • Applicable to tuition fees only.
  • Granted only after admission and payment of registration and first semester fee.

  • Applicant must be a registered student of IAC.

  • Students availing another IAC scholarship are not eligible.

Minority-Based Scholarship

The Minority-Based Scholarship at IAC is designed to support students from minority communities who face financial challenges in pursuing higher education. This initiative reflects our commitment to inclusivity and equal opportunities for all.

  • Up to 25% tuition fee waiver.
  • Applicable to tuition fees only.
  • Granted only after admission and payment of registration and first semester fee.
Eligibility
  • Applicant must be a registered student of IAC.
  • Must belong to a recognized minority community.
  • Students availing another IAC scholarship are not eligible.

  • Collect and submit the application form from the Admission / Scholarship Office.
  • Attach the following required documents:
    • CNIC of applicant and parent/guardian (or B-Form)
    • Family Registration Certificate (FRC)
    • Proof of religion
    • Proof of parent/guardian income (income tax return / land documents / affidavit)
    • Utility bills of residence/business
    • Rent agreement (if applicable)
    • Paid first semester fee challan
  • Applications are processed within one week.
  • Applicants and parents/guardians may be called for an interview with the Scholarship Board.
Continuation
  • Scholarship requires maintaining a minimum SGPA of 3.0.
  • Default in fee payment will result in cancellation.

Qarz-e-Hasna Scholarship

The Qarz-e-Hasna Scholarship is designed for students who lack sufficient means to pay the full fee of their degree program. It acknowledges their financial challenges and provides a subsidy on tuition fees, enabling them to continue their education.

Objective & Scope
  • Provides financial support to students unable to afford the IAC tuition fee.
  • Applies to applicants who cannot meet the cost of their degree program at IAC.
  • Assesses parents’/guardians’ financial means to award a percentage of fee remission.
  • Supports students to continue studies without financial stress.
Exceptions
  • Students already availing any other IAC scholarship are not eligible.
  • Applies only to tuition fee of the relevant degree program.
  • Primarily applies in the first semester; later semesters may be considered in exceptional cases.
  • Applicable only after securing admission at IAC.
Scholarship Description
  • Covers 10% – 70% of tuition fees based on documented financial need and approval.
  • Applicants must be registered students, having paid registration and first semester tuition fee.
Procedure to Avail the Scholarship
  • Pay at least 30% of the semester fee; balance determined by scholarship decision.
  • Submit application on standard form from Admission/Scholarship Office with supporting documents.
  • Each application assigned a case/application number for tracking.
  • Applications processed within one working week.

  • CNIC of father / Family Registration Certificate
  • CNIC of applicant or B-Form
  • Affidavit committing to return scholarship amount if required
  • Surety bond in the name of IAC

Continuation of Scholarship
  • Maintain minimum SGPA of 3.0
  • Scholarship cancelled if SGPA falls below 3.0
  • Fee defaulters may have continuation depend on clearance of pending dues
Approval of Scholarship
  • Personal interview with applicant and parent/guardian conducted by Scholarship Board
  • Board evaluates financial need and supporting documents
  • Recommendation forwarded to Treasurer for confirmation
  • Treasurer may request re-interview if necessary
  • Upon confirmation, scholarship updated in student’s profile
Monitoring & Records
  • Scholarship Board maintains records of all applications, amounts awarded, and beneficiaries
  • Treasurer and Registrar may call for any information related to scholarships under this policy

Scholarship on the Basis of Wards (Armed Forces)

This scholarship provides financial support to children of personnel serving or retired from the Armed Forces, Police, and Wards who are unable to afford the tuition fee at IAC. It ensures continuity of education and encourages students to become responsible contributors to society.

Objective & Scope
  • Support children of serving or retired Armed Forces / Police / Wards personnel with tuition fees.
  • Applies to applicants who cannot afford their educational costs for the relevant degree program.
  • Ensures fair and transparent processing of scholarship applications.
Exceptions
  • Students already availing another IAC scholarship are not eligible.
  • Applicable only to tuition fee of the relevant degree program.
  • Primarily for the first semester; exceptions may be made by the Scholarship Committee.
Scholarship Description
  • Covers 10% – 25% of tuition fee, based on financial documents and Scholarship Committee approval.
  • Applicants must be registered students and have paid registration and first semester tuition fee.
