A two days book fair was organized by the Institute for Art and Culture (IAC) at the Exhibition Hall on September 07 and 08.
It was inaugurated by Pro-Vice Chancellor, Dr. Ashraf Khan along with Registrar Brig (Rtd) Muhammad Safeer Vaseer, Dean School of Art, Dr. Shahida Manzoor and Dean School of Architecture, Dr. Syed Tauseef. HOD’s, faculty members and students were also present at the occasion.
A number of reputed booksellers such as Multiline Books, Allied Books, and Second Wind Books displayed a variety of wide ranging subjects including Architecture, Art, Media, Journalism, Film & Television, Traditional Media & Digital Media, Informatics & Technology and Language & Communication studies.
Pro-Vice Chancellor, Dr Ashraf shared the purpose of organizing book fairs to encourage students and promote the ritual of reading and attaining important knowledge. The book fair was a huge success and both the Pro VC and Registrar appreciated the efforts of Library Consultant M. Rafiq Awan in organizing the book fair.
