The Department of Interior Design at the Institute for Art and Culture (IAC) conducted a thesis show where the pioneer student batch (2018-2022) displayed their thesis works with the utmost ideas incorporated into the modern interior technological design to facilitate end-user and give them practical solutions which will eventually help them with the better life experience.
The interior thesis is assessed by an external jury panel of Architects/Interior designers Mr. Ayaz Rashid & Mr. Salman Munir, experts from the market with vast professional experience. Dean, School of Architecture Design and Urbanism, Dr. Syed Tauseef Ahmed, HOD Architect Rashid Ali Khan, along with the thesis advisor Miss Sehar Dogar and Architect Mr. Salman Basharat welcomed the external jurors. Students’ work was judged critically, and jurors were impressed and offered jobs to students which boosted their confidence.
After the jury, the display was open to the public, Faculty and students from different universities were invited.
The ceremony was closed with the farewell Lunch organized by the department’s faculty and students. Pro-VC Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ashraf Khan, Registrar Brig (Rtd) Muhammad Safeer Vaseer, Dean Dr.Syed Tauseef Ahmed, Dean School of Arts, Dr. Shahida Manzoor and all the faculty members of the interior design department highly appreciated students’ work and gave best wishes for their future.
