Institute for Art and Culture (IAC) in proceeding its goal of creative work and multidisciplinary integration of arts, culture and its practical approach signed an MOU with Mr. Rustam Fateh Ali Khan, world renowned classical singer, musicologist and music therapist from the prestigious Patiala Gharana.
The MOU was signed by Mr. Rustam Ali Khan and Registrar IAC Brig. (R) Muhammad Safeer Vaseer, on 15th November, 2022. IAC faculty and students attended the ceremony and their enthusiasm was evident for this new venture. Pro. V.C. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ashraf Khan, HOD Film and TV Mr. Urooj Samdani, Deputy Director QEC Mr. Wazir Akbar and Head of Student Facilitation Center, Miss Bakhtawar Mukhtar were present at the occasion. This MOU is aimed to initiate creative endeavours for students and inculcate a professional skillset in them. Registrar IAC also briefed the audience about the details of this MOU. Warda Qamar, a student of IAC hosted the ceremony.
Talent hunt activities, six months diploma courses, three months short courses, monthly Gigs involving universities from all over Pakistan, Concerts, Musical Festivals, Student Exchange Programs with International universities and production of Reality Shows are the goals of this MOU.
Audience were also introduced to the expertise of Mr. Rustam Fateh through a short introductory and music video.
