Training for Trainers at IAC

Institute for Art and Culture IAC in collaboration with RUBIKA, one of the world-renowned institutes in France that specializes in Video Games, 2D/3D Animation and Design conducted a 2 day online training session ‘’Training for Trainers’’. Mr. Philippe Tesson was the master trainer of the training session. The purpose was to introduce advanced technology to the trainers so that they can teach students according to the latest trends in the industry.

Faculty members from the Departments of Game Design and Development and Animation Design from the School of Digital and Cinematic Art attended the session. These included HOD Game Design and Development, Prof. Zafar Khokhar. Assistance Professors Bilal Ahmad Bhatti, Saleem Ullah, Imran Gul, Uroob Rabbani, Shamroz Aziz Khan, Tanzeel Uz Zaman and Usman Siddique also participated in the session. It was also attended by professionals from the game design industry including CEO of Squad Cell, Zeeshan Saeed, Co-Founder of Swiss Developers, Jawad Khan, CEO of Euphoria, Ali Ahmad, Game Designers of Euphoria Bilal Haider and Maryam Younis.

IAC had proposed RUBIKA to train its faculty members as Master Trainers. The techniques learned in the Master class will be incorporated into their teaching methodologies. This will be ultimately beneficial for students. In the 2-day online training session, Mr. Philippe Tesson discussed Game Design Planning, Level Design, Mechanics Design, Objective Design, Gameplay and Environment Design in detail. The information shared by him was very informative for the participants of the two training sessions and greatly enhanced their knowledge. Moreover, they showed keen interest in further such training sessions down the line. IAC is thankful to RUBIKA for providing an educational training session that will be fruitful for IAC and its students.
