IMPACT OF ART & CULTURE ON HUMAN LIFE

ARTS AND CULTURE IN HUMAN LIFE

Art is certainly for humanity's sake. Arts and culture are one of the most dynamic methods and norms that can make human behavior change. They can increase empathy, trigger reflection, increase dialogue and help generate new ideas and relationships that can enhance the expression of ideas and positive values. Arts help humanity build new possibilities and rehearse a different way of living and connecting. Arts can help humanity come up with significant things and can also motivate people to relate with each other positively. However, to have this potential realized, there should be a better understanding of the impact of arts on human values and character. Human values are the controlling principles that increase the motivation of human nature and attitude. The values shape the way human beings view and comprehend the world and the mentality that guides human thinking.

HOW DOES ART AFFECT CULTURE AND SOCIETY?

Art influences society by changing opinions, instilling values, and translating experiences across space and time. Research has shown art affects the fundamental sense of self. Painting, sculpture, music, literature, and the other arts are often considered to be the repository of a society’s collective memory. Art preserves what fact-based historical records cannot: how it felt to exist in a particular place at a particular time. Art in this sense is communication; it allows people from different cultures and different times to communicate with each other via images, sounds, and stories. Art is often a vehicle for social change. It can give voice to the politically or socially disenfranchised. A song, film or novel can rouse emotions in those who encounter it, inspiring them to rally for change. Researchers have long been interested in the relationship between art and the human brain. For example, in 2013, researchers from Newcastle University found that viewing contemporary visual art had positive effects on the personal lives of nursing home-bound elders. Art also has utilitarian influences on society. There is a demonstrable, positive correlation between schoolchildren’s grades in math and literacy and their involvement with drama or music activities. As the International Federation of Arts Councils and Culture Agencies (IFACCA)points out, art is beneficial for the artist as an outlet for work. Art not only fosters the human need for self-expression and fulfillment; it is also economically viable. The creation, management, and distribution of art employ many. So, what are you waiting for! Help foster the creative you, load a bundle of motivation on your shoulders, grab a painting kit, and whether you come to paint and party with us or prefer to paint in the quiet of your own home, find your art outlet and release!

SOCIAL IMPACTS AND BENEFITS OF ARTS AND CULTURE

Both Art & Culture are two wonderful ways of preserving or strengthening a strong community’s sense of place, forging a personal identity, and showing your creativity. Art & Culture boast multiple opportunities for learning, entertainment, leisure, personal growth, and improving communication with others. Firstly, we all should understand how Art & Culture are interrelated. Culture is the characteristics, and knowledge of a particular group of people and their way of living. This encompasses food, dress, dance, and tradition. Culture is an inherited idea that distinguishes one group of people from another. Every society has different cultures that share languages, traditions, and behaviors. Having a different culture gives people an identity that makes them unique and different from other citizens. Art is an expression or celebration of that particular way of life, in music, performance, and visual forms. It is a powerful and entertaining way to get someone else’s perspective on something. It gives hope and it inspires each person. Art Influences Culture, Culture Influences Art. Art & Culture play an important role in life. There is a strong relationship between Art & Culture and Education. It improves both personal and academic success, from the beginning of a child’s education through the time of adulthood and career. We would like to bring awareness regarding the Impact of Art & Culture on society and differently abled people. As earlier pronounced Art is an expression with pieces of emotions and through those art pieces it is visible how special ability or differently abled people celebrate their way of life. Art speaks through the soul of its culture. Differently abled people through painting, craft, song, lyrics, poetry, writing and drama can celebrate their lives and express their feelings. Differently abled arts provide a context in which they can get together, enjoy themselves and think in different ways about issues of common concern. And this creates a culture. We strongly believe that the culture of any country is gauged first by its progress in art. Art is not entertainment. Art is not luxury goods. Art is culture. It is you and Me

ART INFLUENCES CULTURE, CULTURE INFLUENCES ART

Art and culture at their very core serve as some of the most significant, dynamic, participation, and social influences of human behavior and interaction. When put together, they have the ability to generate empathy, stir up dialogue, induce reflection, and charter new relationships and ideas. Art and culture also provide a commanding and democratic way of sharing, shaping, and expressing human values. They allow us to explore our inner capabilities and give us insight into how we imagine and use different means to relate with each other. Art and culture also provide us with a way to create useful and meaningful things whilst increasing the value of our livelihoods and firms that are driven by much more than profit margins. To fully understand or comprehend the potential of contemporary Native Pakistani art, a person must look deep inside themselves to find out what factors impact their lives and values. You have to rethink how you view and appraise art. An artist knows that these two aspects play a vital role in steering our principles, behaviors, and general perceptions of the world we live in. Art and culture also help to shape how we view and understand the world around us. The two help to build our mental structures and how we form ideas. They act as the frame through which we can develop stories to tell ourselves and those around us regarding the most important things in our lives.
  • According to art enthusiasts and experts, art and culture serve as part of the basis for shaping the values we have, some of which include
  • A sense of community or belonging
  • Affiliation
  • Self-acceptance
  • Creativity
  • Self-respect
  • Equality
  • Unity
  • Nature
  • Freedom
Over the years, a significant number of people have weighed in on theories surrounding the co-relation between art and culture, and how it impacts our day-to-day lives, particularly when it comes to our core beliefs. Some of these individuals, all with rather different views, come from all walks of life. Some of them are artists, playwrights, designers, academicians, and cultural directors. AT OUR CORE

Founding Philosophy

  • Culture is a set of beliefs and practices, which animates, sustains, and binds a people, and shapes their common identity. The past is our bedrock on which is erected the edifice of the future of a nation.
  • The human mind is a conscious set of cognitive faculties that processes, reasons and perceives in a holistic framework. The integrative process of thinking, wanting and feeling leads to the creation of objects of beauty, which may or may not be of any formal use. This experiential awareness is the basis of all artistic creations.
  • Art reflects society as it exists as much as how it ought to exist. It provides a multiplicity of views that enhances reflection, communication, and visual literacy. This increased sense of empathy, in turn, develops a tolerance towards the ‘other’, the ‘different, and the ‘outsider’. This interaction of art with contemporary ideas leads to the creation of a compassionate view of life.
  • Culture impacts the individual and the decision-making processes in society. It has the potential to bridge our disparate worlds, connect and inspire communities, provide skills for development, and essentially, advocate change for the better..
  • In the realm of foreign affairs, the role of art and culture has increasingly been identified as being instrumental in extending sphere of a country’s soft power. Hence, all the more reason to teach and promote art and culture as a means of expanding the canvas of public diplomacy.
