The Institute for Art and Culture Gallery showcased the work of Bianca Tschaikner, Austrian illustrator and printmaker. The exhibition, Small Worlds was opened on 7th March 2019 at 5 pm by the Chief Guest, Professor Saeed Akhtar, eminent artist and recipient of the Sitara-e-Imtiaz and Pride of Performance.

Bianca Tschaikner travels in search of inspiration for her artwork. She studied Media Design in Austria and Chile, printmaking in Italy and Spain and has a Master’s degree in children book illustration from the University of Fine Art Macerata, Italy. Her work has been exhibited in galleries and museums throughout the world.

Her exhibition, Small Worlds consisted of drawings, sketches, etchings, woodcuts and miniature paintings from different projects, series and books from Bianca Tschaikners body of work. They were arranged into new contexts and combined to form several small worlds, thus creating new imaginary and geographic units.
