There is a great need for Block printing work in Pakistan and abroad and Kahror Pakka is famous for his business printing The vast majority of the population of this city is associated with the block printing industry Sophisticated block printing art is slowly dying out in Pakistan There are. a few artists in Pakistan who make traditional designs Cotton fabric is mainly used in block printing, but now people want to print silk and other fabrics too
Dyes and materials used in block printing are very expensive and natural dyes are usually prepared using herbs, fruits, and vegetables The process is time consuming for most people Printed covers, cushions and shawls made of natural colors are more expensive than those made of chemical dyes

Teaching Methodology

The course is 100 practical and will be taught through a series of assignments, peer learning, and presentations along with demonstrations and audio visual aids for practical activities Research work, class juries and peer discussions will be done in each assignment
