The 2nd IAC Film Festival (2024)

The School of Digital & Cinematic Art at the Institute for Art & Culture hosted the 2nd IAC Film Festival, a two-day event that provided a platform for emerging filmmakers, artists, and directors to showcase their short films, documentaries, and videos.

The festival began with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by our esteemed Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Najma Najam, followed by engaging addresses from Mr. Akhtar Nazir and Asst. Professor Sikandar Javid, HOD of Film & TV.

The event featured a series of powerful performances, interactive panel discussions, and screenings of short films, documentaries, and videos. The two-day festival was a tremendous success, with guests, attendees, and students thoroughly enjoying the experience.

The festival concluded with an award ceremony, where Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Najma Najam and the Dean of the School of Digital & Cinematic Art, Dr. Asim Manzoor, presented IAC souvenirs to the jurors and shields to the members of the Performance Society. The festival concluded with a mesmerizing Qawwali Night, hosted by the department, leaving the audience mesmerized.
