Syed Urooj Zafar is a TV & Film Director & Producer with over 25 years of experience in electronic and print media along with over 13 years in academia. He has been the pioneer of three major TV networks in Pakistan; ARY Digital, Geo TV and Waqt News.

He has worked as Director Programming at Waqt News, Senior Producer Express news and Aaj TV, Bureau Chief and Executive Producer Business Plus. Apart from an illustrious career in the field of electronic media, he has been Media and PR Manager at Shaukat Khanum Hospital.

He is also a former HOD, Theatre, Film & TV (TFT), Beaconhouse National University (BNU) and visiting faculty at UCP, UMT, UOL, P.U. S.U to name a few. He started the MS Film and TV degree program at BNU as well.
